For the manufacture of toilet soaps of normal composition it is not necessary to use a cooling channel. If the surface of soap billets is too soft for further processing - because of high water content of laundry soap or special fatty additions or high share of perfume and other ingredients of toilet soap - an additional solidification by cooling is recommendable.

SELA cooling channels are built with conveyor belt lengths up to 295 m. Soap billets of usual sizes having left the cutter in single-row are arranged to double-row and enter then the cooling channel. In case of big tablet dimensions, single-row passage is possible. Normally, the required transit time is about 10 to 15 minutes.
